Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Pulse, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 1 June 2026

1. Who we are

Pulse (“Pulse”, “we”, “us”) is a call-reporting and analytics service operated by Colaunch Ltd, trading as Pulse and Launch Comm, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 11665000) with its registered office at [registered office address].

For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Colaunch Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this policy in respect of our own account holders and website visitors. Where we process call data on behalf of a customer organisation, that organisation is the controller and we act as a processor under our customer agreement.

2. The data we collect

Account & billing data

Your name, work email address, organisation name, role, authentication identifiers, and billing details (handled by our payments provider — we do not store full card numbers).

Call & usage data

To provide reporting we process call detail records from your connected telephony provider — for example caller and recipient numbers, extensions, call direction, timestamps, duration, ring time, and outcome (such as answered or missed). Where you enable transcription, we process call audio and the resulting transcripts via a third-party transcription provider.

Technical data

Device and browser information, IP address, and product usage events, collected to keep the service secure and working. See our Cookie Policy for detail on cookies and similar technologies.

4. Sharing your data

We share personal data only where necessary, with:

  • our sub-processors — cloud hosting, our database/auth platform, our payments provider, our email-delivery provider, and our transcription provider — each bound by contract to protect your data;
  • professional advisers, regulators, or authorities where required by law; and
  • a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional measures where needed.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Call and reporting data is retained for the period set out in your customer agreement; account and billing records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and company law.

7. Your rights

Subject to conditions, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@launchcomm.co.uk. If we process your data on behalf of your organisation, we may direct your request to that organisation.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Security

We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to notify you of any breach as required by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the service or by email, and the “last updated” date above will change.
